Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a contact lens holding device capable of effectively preventing a contact lens for intraocular observation from getting out of an eye to be examined by the movement of an examinee and capable of being simply and certainly attached to the eye to be examined without generating the outflow of the cornea protecting agent dripped on the region coming into contact with the surface of the cornea of the eye to be examined of the contact lens.

CONSTITUTION: The fixing means 11 of a contact lens 14 for intraocular observation is provided so as to be made movable in the direction approaching and separating with respect to an eye 13 to be examined and the direction left and right with respect to said direction by first and second moving means 22, 40. The fixing means 11 is attached to predetermined revolving means 16, 18 in a revolvable manner and made movable up and down in the state energized upwardly by a second energizing means 51 and can be prevented from upward movement at a predetermined moving position by stopper means 46, 60.
