Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a contact capable of being accurately, surely connected to a mating component, achieving high density, reducing cost, and simply manufacturing.
CONSTITUTION: A contact 10b is constituted in such a way that an almost L-shaped pressure inserting terminal part 2b is formed only in press punching work with no coining or no press bending work, the thickness (t) in the press punching direction M is made thin, the thin direction of a contact terminal part 1b formed by coining is made to coincide with the press punching direction M, and the pressure inserting terminal part 2b and the contact terminal part 1b are integrally formed. The pressure inserting terminal part 2b is inserted by applying pressure into an insulator of a specified connector and built in, and the thickness (t) including a contact part 2b' to be connected to a conductive part of a mating electrical component is made uniform, and the long thickness tL direction of the contact terminal part 1b extending in one shaft direction fit into a mating contact of a mating connector is made to coincide with the back height direction of the pressure inserting terminal part 2b.
