Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact material for biological treatment enhanced in the amount of attached activated sludge while holding the bulkiness of thread lines and hard to release the attached activated sludge all together.SOLUTION: The contact material for biological treatment is a biological contact material immersed in waste water to be treated and treating the waste water by the attached activated sludge and is produced by using at least in its part thread lines which are formed by twisting a plurality of Taslan processed threads comprising synthetic fiber multifilaments.
