A user 112 registers 120 the plan of his own activity to a server computer 102 by operating a client computer 114. These plan data are transmitted to a wide area communication network 100 and stored in a storage device 104 of the server computer 102. When it is desired to speedily get contact with the user 112, another user 106 watches the activity plan data registered 120 in the server computer 102 by the user 112 on his own client computer 108. The user 106 can know where the user 112 is at present and as a result, a telephone call 124 can be originated to a telephone set 116 at the current position of the user 112 while using a telephone set 110, for example. Sometimes, the positions of users 112 and 106 are exchanged. Further, even when another user is involved, the system operates in similar way as well.
