Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact type data carrier that can eliminate erroneous demodulation even when a skew occurs between signals applied to connection terminals VA and VB.
SOLUTION: The contact type data carrier rectifies signal components of opposite phases applied to the first and second connection terminals VA and VB to cover electric power for internal circuits, generates an internal processing clock signal from the opposite phase signal components, and demodulates a received signal component. An internal impedance regulating means 120 switches the impedance of the internal circuits to a high level when the opposite phase signal components are changed, and the internal circuit impedance to a low level when a data signal is demodulated.
