PURPOSE: To attain the high speed of reading and to prevent the generation of blur by forming an optical propagating path regulating section made of a light shield layer having lots of minute holes whose inside wall has a light absorbing characteristic on a photoelectric transducing film.
CONSTITUTION: The photoelectric transducing film 23 is formed on a substrate 22 and a back side electrode 24 is formed between the substrate 22 and the photoelectric transducing film 23. A normal transparent electrode 25 is formed on the film 23, the optical propagating path regulating section 26 made of the light shield layer having lots of minute holes 27 is formed on the electrode 25 and the light absorbing characteristic is given to the inner wall of the minute holes 27. The thickness of the regulating section 26 is taken as, e.g., 4∼20μm, the shape of the minute holes is taken as, e.g., cylindrical form, its diameter is, e.g., 4∼20μm, and the interval of the minute holes 27 is, e.g., 1μm. Thus, the scattered light from an original is absorbed on the inner wall of the minute holes 27, and then the straight-forwarded light or a light straight-forwarded nearly only reaches the photoelectric transducing film.
