To provide a container having gas barrier properties which is excellent in long-term preservation properties, suitable for the use in a microwave oven, and incineration-disposable and which is also sufficiently moisture-proof and rigid to cope with moisture diffusing from food contents.
The container A having the gas barrier properties comprises a container 4 with a flange having a thickness of 1 mm which is injection-molded of a molding material obtained by mixing 60% paper with 25% powder-like polypropylene and 15% powder-like polyethylene in a pelletized manner, a gas barrier coating film layer 5 having a thickness of 500 formed of UV-curable coating with silica mixed therein after the inner and outer surfaces thereof is roughened by corona treatment, and an epoxy resin-based top coating film layer 6 having a thickness of 10 μm having heat resistance and transparency formed thereon.
