To provide a container, a lid, and a seaming method for a container, wherein the container in which a part of a seamed flange part or a seamed curled part is cut out, has a structure which can reduce the influence of a load as much as possible when seaming.
A container is constituted by seaming and jointing a seamed flange part 11 arranged at the opening edge of a container body 10 with a seamed curled part 21 arranged on the periphery of a bottom lid 20 and includes notches 41, 42 on at least one of the seamed curled part 21 and the seamed flange part 11, wherein a short curled part 21B, in which an extension width of the seamed curled part 21 is partly shorter, is provided to at least one of both the circumferential sides of the notches 41, 42.
