PURPOSE: To prevent a wrapping film from being torn diagonally when the film is cut by a method wherein a pair of gripping pieces to grip the film are provided at the end of a storage carton, and a blade is provided at the tip of one of the gripping pieces.

CONSTITUTION: For a container with a cutting tool to contain a rolled object of a wrapping film which has stickiness, and of which the film tearing strength ratio between the longitudinal direction and lateral direction is 1.5 or higher, a pair of gripping pieces 4, 4' consisting of a plate formed body, to grip a pulled out wrapping film are formed of a harder material than the wrapping film. Then, a blade 5 to cut the film is formed at the tip of one of the gripping pieces 4, and the other gripping piece 4' is used as a pressing piece which presses and grips the film to the side surface of the blade 5. In addition, a protruding line 8 is provided on the inner surface of the gripping piece 4, and a depressed groove 9 is provided on the inner surface of the gripping piece 4' at where the depressed groove 9 is confronted with the protruding line 8, to make the gripping of the film more assured. By this method, the film is gripped while being joined to the ride surface of the blade 5, and the film does not slip or is not torn in the diagonal direction at the time of cutting, and is smoothly cut.
