PURPOSE: To improve the containing efficiency of long cargo by providing a container having recessed receiving table for supporting cargo while providing a truck such that there is a space for moving a fork further upward than the receiving table.
CONSTITUTION: Trucks 13aW13n having travel lines 12aW12n perpendicular with the storing positions 11a, 11b of pipe are arranged in region 1 for storing pipe, region 2 for containing pipe and region 3 for delivering pipe. Transfer machine 15 is movable perpendicularly against the travel line 12 and a fork movable horizontally is provided on the side face of suspender 17. Containing shelves are not required when stacking the containers 20 in containing region 2 to reduce the installation cost. In case of shorter diameter pipe, the height of container is reduced to improve the containing efficiency with low cost.
