Abstract:

To provide a contaminated water treatment method in which strontium is treated in the form of ions when it is adsorbed, so if strontium forms complexes with carboxylic acids, the adsorption process becomes difficult.SOLUTION: A contaminated water treatment method includes a process S13 of adding metal ions whose complex stability constant for carboxylic acids is greater than that of impurity ions to contaminated water, and a process S14 of removing impurity ions from contaminated water by adsorbing impurity ions contained in contaminated water containing carboxylic acids onto an adsorbent material. In this way, an effect of carboxylic acid can be suppressed when contaminated water containing carboxylic acid is treated with the adsorbent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
