PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content supply system and a content supply method thereof, and a display device and a control method thereof which enable a user to utilize content for display corresponding to content that is purchased by the user using a user terminal also on a display device, and thus, convenience of the user can be achieved.SOLUTION: The invention is related to a content supplying system and a content supplying method thereof, and a display device and a control method thereof. The content supply system includes: a user terminal for purchasing content; a content supply server for storing purchase detail information of first content purchased through the user terminal and supplying second content, on the basis of the purchase detail information of the first purchased content; and the display device for transmitting usage authorization information corresponding to the purchase detail information of the first purchased content to the content supply server and receiving the second content from the content supply server.
