Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the screening step in an energized state by forming unit cells on a thick film printed board in a matrix, printing a common power source pattern and a common earth pattern, thereby simultaneously or continuously manufacturing many cells. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor chip 4 such as a photodiode or a phototransistor, an amplifying semiconductor IC chip 5, a power source electrode 6, an earth electrode 7, and an output electrode 8 are formed on unit cells 3 of matrix having m rows and n columns on a ceramic thick film printed board 2. Further, resistors, conductor pattern are printed in a thick film, the electrodes and pattern are wire bonded therebetween, and metal caps 19 of windows 18 are bonded at every unit cells 3. A voltage is applied between the common power source pattern 9 and a common earth pattern 10, mXn pieces of unit cells are simultaneously screened, and divided along the grooves 16 into respective cells. When repeating patterns of mXn are printed, and mXn pieces of photocell units are simultaneously continuously manufactured.
