To provide a heat treatment method, by which a metal-made member of wire rod, pipe material, bar material, band material, etc., is passed through a heating zone, slow cooling zone and rapid cooling zone or heating zone and slow cooling zone, in order to execute the heat treatment.
At the time of executing the heat treatment to the metal-made member of the wire rod, pipe material, bar material, band material, etc., by passing through the heating zone and cooling zone in order, the heating zone and the cooling zone are continuously arranged in the sideways so that the member passes through each zone of these zones in the horizontal direction in order. Heating of the member in the heating zone is executed by using fluidized bed 18 and the leakage of fluidized gas is prevented with a filling layer 12 composed of the same powder body as the material used to the fluidized bed 18 arranged at the outlet and the inlet of the heating zone.
