Abstract:
To provide a continuous heat treatment method for a steel strip capable of preventing the pickup which arises at the hearth rolls in the inlet of a cooling furnace.
When heat treating the steel strip 1 in a heat treatment furnace having a heating furnace 3, a soaking furnace 4 and the cooling furnace 5, the steel strip 1 is heat treated by setting the surface temperature of the hearth rolls 6b in the inlet of the cooling furnace 5 or the rolls from the hearth rolls 6a in the outlet of the heating furnace 4 to the hearth rolls 6b in the inlet of the cooling furnace 5 at ≥600°C or ≤450°C.
