Abstract:
To provide a continuous heating furnace capable of remarkably improving the thermal efficiency of a heating furnace and achieving energy saving by devising a countermeasure to reduce a heat loss when heating workpieces in a high temperature reducing atmosphere.
A metal box body 30 for partitioning a hollow space is installed at a top of a furnace body of the continuous type heating furnace 10 for continuously conveying workpieces laid on a carrying conveyor into the heating furnace, and heating the workpieces in the reducing atmosphere supplied to the furnace. First exhaust ducts 32a, 32b are provided for leading waste gas after the combustion treatment of the reducing atmosphere to the box body 30.
