Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure an electric characteristic of a chip electronic component by temporally housing the chip electronic component into a penetration hole of a conveying plate so that one of terminal electrodes is positioned at a tip part, and the other is positioned at a bottom part, by moving the conveying plate to an electric characteristic measurement position along a plate flat surface, and by applying a voltage while contacting an electric characteristic measurement terminal including a roller electrode terminal to both electrode of the chip electronic component, measure the electric characteristic of the chip electronic component, reduce scratch on a front surface of the electrode generated during measuring the electric characteristic of the chip electronic component by a plurality of steps including a step of separating the chip electronic component from the electric characteristic measurement position, and simultaneously improve reliability of the electric characteristic measurement.SOLUTION: When a chip electronic component is move, and is contacted with a roller electrode terminal, the roller electrode terminal is positioned so as to be contacted with one corner part of the chip electrode of the chip electronic component. After the measurement of the electric characteristic, the roller electrode terminal is moved to a direction separated from a surface of a conveying plate so as to be not contacted to the other corner part of the chip electrode of the chip electronic component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
