Title:
CONTINUOUS PAPER SPLICE TAPE AND CONTINUOUS PAPER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11124110
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To lock a tail of continuous paper to a matrix of the continuous paper, provide a laser beam shield layer for mill wrapper cutting in an unpacking process and provide a splice tape between new and old pieces of continuous paper by using an adhesive double coated tape in handling the continuous paper.

A material which is the same as that of a common adhesive tape such as paper, cloth, a plastic film and a metallic foil is used as a base material 11 of an adhesive double coated tape 10, while adhesive layers 12 having viscosity are formed on both faces of the tape 10. The adhesive layer 12 inside the tape has a belt-like inner blank part 10a without an adhesive layer. A cut line is provided lengthwise on the base material corresponding to the inner blank part, whereby the tape can be easily torn by applying force. On an outer face of the base layer, the adhesive layer 12 is provided and a laser shield layer 13 is provided on a belt-like outer part without the adhesive layer formed to be positioned on the inner blank part. The laser shield layer 13 is stuck to double-faced release paper 14 covering the outside thereof and is separated from the base material as the release paper is peeled off from the tape. The wide adhesive layer 12 is stuck to a tip of continuous paper 1 across the inner blank part, while the narrow adhesive layer 12 is stuck and locked to a matrix 1b of the continuous paper.
