Abstract:
To provide a continuous pyrolysis method of plastics which continuously processes a large amount of plastics without repolymerization of reaction products when the plastics are pyrolized to decomposed substances composed mainly of monomers by microwave heating.
The continuous pyrolysis method of plastics comprises charging plastics in a reaction tank which is covered with a chamber not permitting microwave to leak and in which microwave exothermic bodies are disposed, irradiating the microwave exothermic bodies with microwave to pyrolize the plastics while stirring and mixing the microwave exothermic bodies and the plastics, and discharging the pyrolized products out of the system to recover the products.
