Abstract:
To continuously and efficiently separate fine particles in a submillimeter flow passage.
When continuously separating floating fine particles 8 flowing in a flow passage 10 by acoustic emission force and electrostatic force, part of the floating fine particles (small diameter particles 8b) is introduced to one side wall 12 of the flow passage 10 by the electrostatic force, and other part of the floating fine particles (large diameter particles 8a) is introduced to the other side wall (reflection plate 22), by scanning stationary wave 24 for applying the acoustic emission force and varying positions of nodes of a sound field generated by the stationary wave 24.
