PURPOSE: To bring an image and a picture receiving sheet to accurate accord in high speed motion by providing/arranging the tip stopping portion of a sheet member, objected by a rocking portion of a rocking member, at either an up/ down stream side of a sheet transferring passage of a pair of rollers or an up stream side of a pair of belts.

CONSTITUTION: In accordance with a detect signal obtained as the leading edge position of an image, a solenoid SL operated, an eccentric cam 40 rotates, and a register member 45 moves upward. On the other hand, a trnsferred, picture- receiving sheet hits, with its tip in the direction of transferring, a click 47 of the register member 45 to wait for the time of transferring. If a projection 40a of the eccentric cam 40 passes through the position of a roller 41, the register member 45 rotates counterclockwise, releasing the tip of the picture receiving sheet from the click 47, which transfers the picture receiving sheet toward a drum 13 by means of a transferring roller 22 that rotates all the time.
