Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the contour of a signal by inputting the signal to a control signal generation circuit including leastwise two differentiating operation, selecting one among the information of a second inputted signal, an addition signal and a subtraction signal, outputting it and making a delay circuit to be unnecessary. CONSTITUTION:A color difference signal (f) inputted from a terminal 7, differentiated by a differentiating circuit 8 and made to be a signal (g). Then, the central potential of it is sliced to a prescribed level by a slice circuit 9 and made to be a signal (h). By adding and subtracting a signal (f') obtained by time-adjusting the inputted color difference signal (f) with the aid of the delay circuit 10 and the signal (h) with the aid of an addition circuit 11 and a subtraction circuit 12, signals (i) and (j) are obtained. The signals (i), (j) and (f') are inputted to a switch circuit 13. Then, the signal (j) is selected at the first half of a change part, the signal (i) is selected at the latter half of the change part and the signal (f') is selected when there is not the change. Then, it is made to be a signal (k) and outputted to an output terminal 14.
