Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for an electric vehicle, which improves the reliability of an induction motor by monitoring the state of temperature of the induction motor without setting a temperature sensor on the induction motor.
SOLUTION: From a torque current command 11 from a vector control command computing part 12 and a torque current actual value 12, a secondary resistance correction value 21 is obtained with a secondary resistance correction operating part 13. A rotor temperature detecting operation pat 24 adds a reference secondary resistance value (R2s) 22 to the secondary resistance correction value (ΔR2) 21 obtained with the secondary resistance correction operating part 13, and obtains a secondary resistance value after correction. From a rotor temperature coefficient 23 determined from the secondary resistance value after correction, the reference secondary resistance value (R2s) 22 set by applying a secondary resistance value at a normal temperature to a reference, and a metallic material of the rotor of an induction motor, an estimated rotor temperature 31 is calculated with the rotor temperature detecting operation part 24.
