Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for a synchronous motor capable of avoiding demagnetization without the need to excessively limiting torque.SOLUTION: A control apparatus for the synchronous motor comprises: a current command generation part which generates a d-phase current command and a q-phase current command; a current detection part which detects a d-phase current and a q-phase current; a short-circuit device which short-circuits the synchronous motor for applying dynamic brake to the synchronous motor; and a short-circuit control part which controls the short-circuit device. The current command generation part controls the q-phase current command so as to decrease the q-phase current after a dynamic brake signal is received. The short-circuit control part controls the short-circuit device so as to short-circuit the synchronous motor after the dynamic brake signal is received and after the lapse of a predetermined time from the control of the q-phase current command by the current command generation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
