Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten the working time of pallet loader for cargo having different shape by forming a sequence on the basis of previously obtainable information such as the type of cargo, arrangement and order then performing synchronous control of up/down motion and loading of pallet.

CONSTITUTION: A computer 10 is storing data for every cargo 12, loading pattern 13 and loading sequence 14 while a computer 18 will calculate the operating sequence of loader 22 and the loading station elevator 23 on the basis of the stored data 12W14 which are tabulated and stored in memory sections 15W 16. Upon input of loading pattern and cargo data, the computer 10 will calculate the sequence from the stored data 12W14 to provide commands to the loader 22 and the elevator 23 thus to control the loading synchronously in accordance with the sequence. With such arrangement, the loading time can be shortened.
