Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the double breaking configuration of a load by a relay for turning on and off a power to a control part in the control circuit of a cooking appliance such as a microwave range.
SOLUTION: A control circuit for a cooking appliance comprises a power source 4, a control part 12 to which electric power is supplied from the power source 4, a load part 6 controlled by the control part 12, a relay contact 10a located at least on one side of the power source 4 to switch on and off the power line of the control part 12 and the load part 6, a relay contact 7a located at a position opposite to the relay contact 10a with respect to the power source 4 to turn on and off a power to the load part 6, an interlock switch 5 located between the control part 12 and the load part 6 to interlock with the opening and closing operation of a door and an open monitor switch 15 connected in parallel with the relay contact 10a. The electric power is supplied to the control part 12 from the power source 4 through the open monitor switch 15 upon opening the door so that the control part 12 operates, the relay contact 10a is turned on and the double breaking relay of the load part 6 is eliminated.
