To provide a method for controlling the ratio of at least two kinds of reactants flowing into a chemical reactor.
This method for controlling the ratio of concentrations of reactants in a reactor feed flow, is provided by forming a mixed hydrocarbon feed flow by combining a reactive hydrocarbon feed material flow of which concentrations of the reactive components vary, with a phase disolvable but non reactive hydrocarbon feed flow together, then combining the above mixed flow together with a reactive alcohol flow in which the concentration of the reactive components is stable, to form a completed feed flow to the reactor. By a controlling system for maintaining the stable concentration in the mixed hydrocarbon flow by operating the flow rate of the nonreactive hydrocarbon feed flow in corresponding to the measurement of the concentration in the mixed hydrocarbon flow, it is possible to maintain the desired ratio of relative reactant concentrations in the completed feed flow into the reactor.
