Abstract:
PURPOSE:To determine a control constant, which meets control system design specifications, with a light labor in a short time by inferring and determining the adjustment of design parameters and the characteristic of a control system based on knowledge information of data bases. CONSTITUTION:A controlled system dynamic characteristic input device 9 inputs the dynamic characteristic of a controlled system with state space expression. This dynamic characteristic is inputted to a dynamic characteristic expression converter 10 and is converted to discrete time expressions at a sampling control period tau. A control system design specification input device 16 inputs specifications of the control system, namely, the rise time, the attenuation speed, the settling time, etc. A design parameter controller 11 receives the dynamic characteristic converted to discrete time expressions from the converter 10 and specifications from the device 16 and determines design parameters based on knowledge information of a data base 12. The dynamic characteristic of the controlled system and design parameters are inputted to a control constant calculating device to calculate the time constant. A control performance evaluating device 14 performs the inference based on knowledge information of a data base 15 to evaluate the control performance of the closed loop control system. Thus, time response simulation is unnecessary.
