PURPOSE: To make it possible to set the ceiling value of discharge pressure to the limit that enables the application of a system of full capacity and reduce the frequency of operation and suspension of an outdoor fan and a compressor with regards to a control device for an air conditioner equipped with an inverter device which controls the operation frequency of an outdoor fan.
CONSTITUTION: A detection pressure prediction means 21 predicts the next discharge pressure based on the previous discharge pressure and the current discharge pressure detected by a pressure detection means 17. When the next discharge pressure exceeds the ceiling value of discharge pressure, a detection pressure carrier means 18 output a correction frequency to a frequency command means 19 in order to raise the operation frequency of an outdoor fan 14.
