Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce judder at inertia phase without amplifying it irrespective of any relation with μ-V characteristic of a friction element when the judder occurs at the time of transmission.SOLUTION: A transmission is carried out by releasing a high-clutch 33 and at the same time by fastening a low-brake 32. This CVT 4 with a sub-transmission is provided with a judder reduction control means [Fig.6] for reducing judder when a judder occurs at a high-clutch 33 during transmission, a transmission capacity of the low-brake 32 is generated under an inertia phase of the transmission phase to reduce the judder. The judder reduction control means [Fig.6] generates the transmission capacity of the low-brake 32 subsequent to a timing to detect that a rotational speed of the low-brake 32 becomes less than a rotational speed [0 rpm] under fastening completed state of the low-brake 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
