PURPOSE: To enable a stable complete combustion to be carried out by a method wherein a gas control valve and an air damper are cooperatively related from each other in such a way that a relation of constant air-fuel ratio is satisfied.
CONSTITUTION: An opening signal and a closing signal are outputted from an opening degree control device 5 to a gas control valve control motor 1A and an air damper control motor 1B in such a way that they may be corresponded to signals got from sensors. A gas control valve 2 and an air damper 3 are independently operated by the gas control valve control motor 1A and the air damper control motor 1B. At this time, a relation between a degree of opening of the gas control valve 2 and a degree of opening of the air damper 3 so as to cause an air-fuel ratio to be kept substantially constant is stored in a memory 6 of an opening degree control device 5. The opening degree control device 5 outputs the opening signal and the closing signal in such a way that opening degrees of the gas control valve control motor 1A and the air damper control motor 1B may become the desired opening degrees. With such an operation as above, it is possible to perform a stable and complete combustion.
