Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimum a period for limiting the introduction of an EGR gas into an intake passage while suppressing the creation of condensed water in the intake passage, in a diesel engine.SOLUTION: In an intake passage of a diesel engine, an intercooler is arranged at a downstream side with respect to a compressor of a supercharger, and a throttle valve is arranged at a downstream side with respect to the intercooler. Furthermore, an EGR device for introducing an EGR gas into the intake passage at a downstream side with respect to the throttle valve is arranged. At this time, when a temperature of a heat medium in the intercooler is lower than a target heat medium temperature, the introduction of the EGR gas into the intake passage is limited. Then, when the introduction of the EGR gas is limited, a pressure ratio of the supercharger is increased, and an opening of the throttle valve is reduced compared with the case that operation states of the diesel engine are the same, and the temperature of the heat medium in the intercooler is not lower than the target heat medium temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
