Abstract:
To provide a control device for a discharge lamp lighting circuit with a small circuit scale at a low cost.
A reference value generating circuit 1 generates the reference voltage Vref periodically changed with the voltage level. A comparator CP compares the input signal Vin with the reference voltage Vref of the reference value generating circuit 1 in size and outputs the compared result. A latch circuit 2 latches the output of the comparator CP at the rise of the clock signal CLK. The time when the output of the latch circuit 2 becomes high is changed according to the size of the voltage level of the input signal Vin.
