Abstract:
To provide a control device for an electric vehicle which prevents a vehicle behavior from becoming unstable due to change in deceleration during vehicle behavior control.SOLUTION: A control device for an electric vehicle 1 including an electric motor 2 which generates driving torque by power from a battery 3, includes deceleration switching means 13 which has a plurality of deceleration modes each having a set deceleration degree of the electric vehicle 1, and which requests switching of the deceleration mode in response to a driver's operation. In addition, the control device includes: deceleration control means 11 which controls regenerative torque of the electric motor 2 so that deceleration set in the deceleration mode requested by the deceleration switching means 13 is obtained; and vehicle behavior stability control means 12 which, when a vehicle behavior of the electric vehicle 1 becomes unstable, executes vehicle behavior stability control to stabilize the vehicle behavior. The deceleration control means 11 prohibits the switching of the deceleration mode when the switching of the deceleration mode is requested by the deceleration switching means 13 during the execution of the vehicle behavior stability control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
