The elevator control device is equipped with a door full open sensor to sense the full open condition of a car door, a safety shoe motion sensor to sense the motion of the safety shoe, and a control board to set the door open prolonging operation and conducts the door open prolonging operation in case sensing is made that the safety shoe has made the motion for the specified period on the basis of the sensing signal given by the safety shoe motion sensor while the door is full opened on the basis of the sensing signal given by the door full open sensor.
