PURPOSE: To provide a comfortable feeling of riding by detecting a vibration due to changing secondary resistance, and performing temperature correction of the secondary resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A toggle switch 27 assigns an installation adjusting mode. A secondary resistance correcting circuit 26 changes a value R2 based on a signal from the toggle switch 27, running mode signal Vm from a speed command circuit 7, torque component current command iqs' before performing balance compensation from a compensating circuit 9 and a slip frequency command value ωs. Based on the torque component current command value iqs' when generated a vibration and the slip frequency command value ωs stored when adjusted installation, a vibration due to changing secondary resistance R2 is detected to perform temperature correction of the secondary resistance. In this way, a control device for an elevator, having high stability and responsiveness relating to a temperature change, can be obtained. Accordingly, deteriorating riding comfortableness of a car of the elevator due to fluctuation of the secondary resistance is prevented, and a comfortable feeling of riding can be obtained.
