To continue reducing control of engine torque as long as possible while ensuring reliability of a part in an exhaust system by a delay of the ignition timing.
This device has: a control mode switching means 30a controlling the ignition timing by a first control mode increasing a delay amount when an exhaust flow amount is a prescribed amount or less and by a second control mode decreasing a delay amount relating to the first control mode when the exhaust flow amount is the prescribed amount or more; a control continuation time measurement means 30g for measuring a control continuation time in the first control mode; a control mode change means 30h switching from the first control mode to the second control mode when the control continuation time reaches a prescribed upper limit; and an upper limit setting means 30i for lengthening the upper limit time at the time of the second control mode relating to at the time of the first control mode. Accordingly, by lengthening the control continuation time at the time of the second control mode relating to at the time of the first control mode, while suppressing a rise of exhaust temperature, reducing control of engine torque is continued.
