Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the loss of power consumption and traveling performance even in case of driving with an electric motor while stopping an engine during the traveling.
SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle is formed of a metal V-belt type continuously variable transmission mechanism 20 for changing the revolution of an engine E, a forward traveling clutch 14 and a backward traveling clutch 15 for controlling the engagement and removal of the engine with /from the continuously variable transmission, and a second motor generator 50 capable of driving driving wheels with the engine E. A control device for this hybrid vehicle has a first hydraulic pump 3 for driving the engine, a second hydraulic pump 56 to be driven by a pump driving electric motor 55 and a forward and backward traveling clutch control valve 73 for controlling the changeover of the supply of the operating oil pressure to the forward and the backward traveling clutches. When driving the vehicle for traveling while stopping the engine during the traveling, the forward and the backward clutches are released by the forward and backward clutch control valve, and the second hydraulic pump is driven by the pump driving electric motor, and gear shift of the continuously variable transmission is controlled by the oil pressure in response to the driving condition.
