Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a hydraulic power steering device that can suppress excessive current consumption while having a plurality of electric pumps.SOLUTION: In a high load state where either one of a first current value Im1 flowing in a first motor 41 or a second current value Im2 flowing in a second motor 44 is equal to or larger than an upper limit current value or in a low assist state where target rotational frequency is less than a low rotation threshold value, first and second microcomputers 71, 73 activate either one of a first or second electric pump 22, 23, and stop the other. The first and second microcomputers 71, 73 determine the electric pump to be activated and the electric pump to be stopped in the high load state or the low assist state on the basis of on/off states of first and second instruction flags Fi1, Fi2 stored in non-volatile memories 71a, 73a, and alternately activate (stop) the first electric pump 22 and the second electric pump 23 in the state.
