PURPOSE: To enable an emergent shift of a communication system and a control circuit system of a monorail type inspection robot body to any positions where the systems are repairable.
CONSTITUTION: This robot consists of an inspection robot body 10 and a fixed station 11, and those of robot body 10 and fixed station 11 are connected by a DC voltage feeding trolley line 12A and a signal transmitting trolley line 12B. This inspection robot body 10 is provided with an emergency signal receiving circuit 1, an electronic switch 2, a drive circuit 3, a running motor 4, a central processing unit 5 and a signal transmission circuit 6, and the fixed station is provided with an emergency signal transmitting unit 7, a signal transmitter 8 and a power unit 9. The DC voltage feeding trolley line 12A is connected to the emergency signal receiving circuit 1, the electronic switch 2, the emergency signal transmitter 7 and the power unit 9, and the signal transmitting trolley line 12B is connected to the signal transmitting circuit 6 and the signal transmitter 8.
