Abstract:
To improve quality of a rolled stock when cooling the rolled stock while rolling being finished by using cooling devices where supply quantities of cooling media are discontinuous.SOLUTION: A control device 70 sets an operation amount of a temperature regulator including on-off cooling devices 61 to 66 on the basis of value of an evaluation index for evaluating control of temperature of a rolled stock 1 so that temperatures of the rolled stock 1 at one or more temperature management positions P satisfy a prescribed temperature condition. Here, the evaluation index includes an operation change frequency evaluation index Jonoff,k that evaluates change frequency of the on-off cooling devices 61 to 66 where flow rates of the cooling water become discontinuous values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
