Abstract:
To provide a control device that can improve safety.SOLUTION: A control device is designed to control a wheelchair lift provided in a vehicle. The wheelchair lift includes a platform that allows a wheelchair to be mounted on, a wheelchair fixing part that fixes the wheelchair onto the platform, and a platform lifting part that transitions the platform between the storage position inside the vehicle and the boarding/alighting position outside the vehicle. The control device determines whether the vehicle is stopped, and if determining that the vehicle was stopped, it then determines whether the vehicle's stopping position is on an inclined slope. If determining that the vehicle's stopping position is on an inclined slope, it then prohibits the release of fixation by the wheelchair fixing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
