Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize the 3-dimensional working with one type of the NC tape and eliminate the use of the large-scale computer, by converting the absolute coordinate system information to which the offset is applied successively into the relative coordinate system information and then supplying it to NC control device. CONSTITUTION:The information recorded on NC tape 1 is read by reader 2 which is driven by operation board 7 and then applied to identifying circuit 3 to identify the tool control signal or the relative coordinate system information. Thus the tool control signal is sent directly to NC control device 4 to start the machine tool; while the relative coordinate information is supplied to converting circuits 11-36 via deciding circuit 6. Then the relative coordinate system information supplied successively based on the initial coordinate system information given from board 7 are added through circuits 11-36 to be converted into the the absolute coordinate system information. This information is stored in memories 16 and 17 via register 12. Then this stored information is read out via reading circits 18 and 19 and then applied to device 4 via registers 25 and 26, tangent line vector producing circuits 31 and 32, etc.
