Abstract:
To provide a control device and the like that do not cause anxiety to a driver even when an emergency vehicle approaches during automatic driving.SOLUTION: A HCU is a control device used in a vehicle capable of performing automatic driving at a level 3 where a driver has no obligation to monitor surroundings. The HCU determines whether or not a state where the driver is allowed to perform a second task is continued when it is detected that an emergency vehicle approaches the own vehicle during an automatic driving period where the automatic driving at the level 3 is performed. The HCU limits a display of contents provided to the driver if it is determined that the allowed status of the second task is not continued.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
