To provide a safer seat heater which issues a failure notice to a user by surely detecting a failure by a failure detecting means and reporting it by a reporting means when an energization control element fails, thereby solving a problem that an energization control element is overheated due to difficulties in stopping the energization to a warming heater and in noticing a failure to a user when the energization control element is short circuited.
A control device for a seat heater is equipped with the failure detecting means for detecting a failure of an energization control element and the reporting means for reporting a failure to a user. A control means reports the occurrence of a failure to a user by the reporting means when a failure of the energization control element is determined to occur by the failure detecting means.
