To provide a control device for a vehicle capable of performing torque down-control with high responsiveness in reduction of a fuel injection amount as a main item.
In the vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine 30 and an automatic transmission 32, engine ECU 34A performs torque down control for temporarily reducing output torque of the internal combustion engine 30 at shift of the automatic transmission 32. As control for reducing a fuel injection amount relative to at least one cylinder of a plurality of cylinders provided on the internal combustion engine 30 responding to requirement of torque down performed accompanying with shift action of the automatic transmission 32, control for stopping injection of the fuel is performed. The control device is provided with a specified torque down control means for performing control for spark-delaying an ignition timing of the internal combustion engine 30 during when stopping of injection of the fuel is reflected on the output torque of the internal combustion engine 30.
