Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle capable of completely stopping a receiving circuit of smart entry control means when the vehicle is not used in a stopped state for a long time, securely suppressing unnecessary wear of a battery, and preventing degradation of the battery.SOLUTION: On condition that removal of a backup fuse 6 for electrically connecting/disconnecting a power supply path 5 from a battery 1 to general loads such as an audio device 2, a navigation device 3 or the like is detected, a control circuit 4d stops the periodic start-up control of a receiving circuit 4a of smart entry control means 4 from the battery 1. Therefore, even in the case where a vehicle is not used for a long time, operation of the receiving circuit 4a of the smart entry control means 4 is completely stopped, enabling an unnecessary dark current of the receiving circuit 4a to be suppressed, thus preventing the degradation of the battery 1, and making it possible to contribute to the prolongation of the life.
