Abstract:
To prevent an exhaust temperature from excessively climbing while preventing a piston from overheating.SOLUTION: A control apparatus 6 includes: a temperature estimation part 621 for estimating a temperature of a piston 1 of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle S on the basis of at least one of a temperature of a cooling oil cooling the piston 1 of the engine, that of cooling water cooling the engine, and an exhaust temperature of the engine; and a control part 622 for decreasing an upper limit value of fuel injection timing at which a fuel injector 2 injecting fuel into the piston 1 injects the fuel, in a case where the temperature of the piston 1 estimated by the temperature estimation part 621 climbs up to a first threshold that corresponds to a heatproof temperature of the piston 1, and increasing the upper limit value of the fuel injection timing at a temperature higher than the first threshold in a case where the temperature of the piston stops climbing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
