To exactly control the timing for starting the retreat of a carriage even if there is insufficient detection of the molten metal flowing in from the other end side of a mold of centrifugal casting equipment.
The centrifugal casting equipment casts a pipe by uniformly supplying the molten metal into the mold 2 rotating around its axis by drawing a molten metal supply gutter 3 in compliance with the amount of the supply from the molten metal supply gutter 3 into the mold 2 to an axial direction from the mold 2 and moving the gutter in such a manner that the molten metal is widely spread by centrifugal forcer into the rotating mold 2. The equipment is provided with a first sensor 13 for detecting the molten metal flowing into the molten metal supply gutter 3 and a second sensor 12 for detecting the inflow of the molten metal into the mold from the leading front of the molten metal supply gutter. When the information on the detection of the molten metal from the second sensor 12 is not inputted after the lapse of the specified time from the detection of the molten metal by the first sensor 13, the molten metal supply gutter 3 is controlled on the basis of the lapse of the specified time so as to move relatively in the drawing direction from the mold 2.
