Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control the liquid level so that the level of the bubble produced by reaction is set within a prescribed range, by combining the continuous levels detected by a differential pressure level detector and a point level detected by a pair of upper and lower conductivity type level detectors to control of the container level. CONSTITUTION:The bubbles B are produced by the reaction within a distilling column 1 and the liquid level Ll is continuously detected by a differential level detector 4. Then the set value SP is defined as a target level and the normal PID (proportional, integral, differential) control is carried out by a programmable controller 7. When the level Ll rises up by some reason and the bubble level Lb reaches the level of a conductivity type level detector 5, this detector 5 is turned on and the ON signal is delivered to the controller 7. The set value SP of the controller 7 is reduced by DELTASP. As a result, the inflow is reduced and the level Ll is lowered. At the same time, the level Ll is also lowered. Here the adverse control is possible and these control actions are repeated to increase or decrease greatly the set value.
